5 days. Yes, in 5 days we will be on our way to the Bronx. It seems like just yesterday we had our first meeting! I'm am truly so excited for this trip and I know that God is going to do such amazing things in us and through us. I've really been praying these past couple weeks for a sense of unity for our team and that as things may arise between people, we would just stay unified. Also for a boldness and confidence throughout our team. God is going to stretch us beyond our comfort zones and I've just been praying that we would follow along and trust that He will give us peace and words to say in certain situations.
On that note, one thing God is really challenging me to do is just be more bold. More bold in my actions, words, and faith. Ephesians 3:20 says, "Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think." In other words, when we think about the things we could accomplish they are really only a small fraction of the things God can and will do. When we step out of our comfort zones and keep that verse in mind, there is really nothing that can stop us from what God has planned. God is going to do some amazing things over the course of this trip and even in the days to come and days following...And I'm jacked. We have one week to make a impact on the people's lives, but that impact will last a lifetime. So, "fill us up and send us out, Lord. We must go."
